Bentley Wood High School is a non-selective comprehensive school with no predefined catchment area for admissions. Harrow Local Authority is responsible for pupil admissions in all local authority high schools. The local authority provides a booklet called A Guide to Secondary Schools in Harrow which outlines the application procedure, arrangements for visits to the school, the number of places available and the percentage uptake of these places.
If you wish to appeal against the decision not to offer your child a place at the school, for your appeal to be heard in the main round of appeals it must be submitted by Friday 12th April 2019. Appeals will be heard early in the summer term 2019. To submit an appeal please complete the appeal form, which is available from the Harrow Council website or from the Harrow Council Admissions Service (firstname.lastname@example.org).
An appeal has to be made in writing, setting out the grounds on which it is made, in full. You must include a full description of your case. Additional information and evidence supporting your appeal and its grounds should be submitted as soon as possible and before the appeal hearing. Please note that any evidence or information submitted on the date of the appeal may not be considered.
